Leave the M6 at junction 34 taking the A683 for Lancaster.
- Reach
the Lancaster one-way system after a mile or so. Continue on A683
for Morecambe, crossing the river and passing under the high railway
bridge. This is now Morecambe Road.
- Go
through a large roundabout, continuing on Morecambe Road (still the
A683 here).
- After
a short distance pass the Lancaster & Morecambe College (seen on
the right).
- At
the next roundabout take the A589 for Morecambe (still called
Morecambe Road - with McDonalds to the left).
- Approximately
400 yards later at the double roundabout take the B5321 Lancaster
Road, sign posted Town Centre and Morecambe football club, after the
Shrimp pub seen to the left.
- Christie
Park is about 400 yards further, on the left, after a couple of bends.
- Spectators
park in the car park before the ground (left), behind a social club
on the roadside or on streets (turn right, off Lancaster Road. Team
coaches park on the officials-only car park, left at the end of the
ground behind the North Stand and before the school.
- JB's Bar is the best club to meet, have a drink and a chat with home fans in, before and after the game - under the Main Stand at the back of Christie Park, where the changing rooms etc. also are.
