(from statistics kindly supplied
by Laurence Bland and Neil Marsdin)
In
2000-2001 we finished 4th. from the bottom of the Nationwide
Conference and so were the lowest club to stay up. We got 45
points, 2 ahead of Kettering who are now playing in the Dr. Martens
League. However, the season did have its notable points and the
following statistics MAY be worth recording.
In the Conference the following
happened :
Games played 42
Home
won 8 drawn
5 lost 8
goals for 35 against
29 goal diff +6 points 29
Away
won 3 drawn
7 lost 11 goals
for 29 against 37
goal diff -8 points 16
Overall won
11 drawn 12 lost
19 goals for 64
against 66 goal diff -2 points 45
45 is our worst in the Conference,
29 being our worst home points. 19 defeats is our joint
worst (with 1998-1999), with 8 defeats being our worse home figure.

Boston United with 739)

With 1 point per foul, 2 per
yellow card and 5 per red card
our final position was 3rd. with
