Mayor of Morecambe & Heysham Coun. Mildred Jean Platten Re-opens Christie Park on September 4th 1946, before the team play Darwen (won 4-0) speaking into the newly installed microphone loud speaker system. Seen with the Lancashire Combination Cup (won by Morecambe FC in May 1946).
